On the evening of July 15, the 2019 National Pharmacy Week & China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Development Conference kicked off in Jinan City, Shandong Province. At the grand welcome dinner, the List of 2018 Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Enterprises, one of the highlights of the conference, was unveiled.

Among them, Good Doctor Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., Chengdu Baiyu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Sunnyhope Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which set up their operations in our park in the form of R&D Center, were listed in the Top 100 Traditional Chinese Medicine Companies, ranking 32^nd, 57^th and 64^th respectively.

In addition, Jiangsu Hengrui Medicines Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Salubris Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. were listed in the Top 100 Chinese Chemical Medicines Companies. Their subsidiaries Chengdu-Chengdu Suncadia Medicine Co., Ltd. and Salubris (Chengdu) Biotechnology Co., Ltd. also operate in the park.

Chongqing Porton Fine Chemicals Ltd. has been listed in the Top 20 China CRO (including CDMO) Enterprises, and its wholly-owned subsidiary Chengdu Porton Chemicals Co., Ltd. (namely, Chengdu R&D Center) also operates in the park.

For this selection of the Top 100 enterprises, Menet, the sponsor, formed an expert committee for the List of Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Enterprises. With the support of its database of three major terminals and six market terminals, the expert committee had given the more scientific and rigorous judgement in the selection from two major aspects, namely, driving force for innovation and professional promotion power.

Driving force for innovation is mainly judged from the comprehensive R&D investment indexes of enterprises, while professional promotion power is rigidly defined on the basis of the terminal quantitative data determined by the final selection needs of clinicians and patients. Finally, the quantitative analysis is conducted in combination with the database, thus, the great efficiency and benefits!

In 2018, China’s pharmaceutical industry faced a much harder annual test than ever before in the fields of policy refinement, transformation and upgrading, capital adventure, internationalization, and green revolution...all of these enterprises have withstood the test and finally won the honors!

Sichuan Sunnyhope Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., formerly known as Chengdu No. 6 Pharmaceutical Plant, is a high-tech pharmaceutical enterprise integrating pharmaceutical research, development, production and medical investment. The company established a provincial-level enterprise technology center that was certified in 2012, and set up a new medicine research and development department in 2001. Its main product lines include eye drops series, special medicine for gout, injection series and essential medicine series. It has 204 varieties of products, including nine exclusive varieties, one protected variety of traditional Chinese medicine, 79 varieties included into the National Reimbursement Drug List, and 35 varieties included into the National Essential Drugs List. It also has 25 patents for invention.
