The outbreak of the new coronavirus has been affecting the feelings of all people across the country.  Waking up early in the morning to check the latest epidemic data for the first time has become a daily routine for many people. During the critical period of epidemic prevention and control, the vast majority of people chose to stay at home, do not go out and gather, fighting against the epidemic in a silent way. However, there is still a group of fighters unwilling to stay in the safety and resolutely "go upstream" and fight the virus with more powerful measures.

Tianfu Life Science Park is an important biomedicine R&D innovation center and industrial incubation center in China jointly built by provincial, municipal and district-level authorities. It gathers a large number of outstanding pharmaceutical R&D enterprises and medical service institutions.

In front of the epidemic, everyone realizes the fragility of human kinds and more biomedicine people deeply understand the responsibilities and missions they shoulder.

In the early stage of the outbreak, the leading party branch took the lead in setting up a scientific team, which collated comprehensive information related to virus prevention and control, government prevention and control policies, and expert guides. Meanwhile, the science popularization was carried out and adopted by the “Talent Comprehensive Service Platform in Chengdu”.

At the same time, it gives full play to its own R&D and industrial strengths, actively provides related primers and probe synthesis services for diagnostic companies, medical laboratories and other institutions, assists in the production of new coronavirus detection kits, and fight the epidemic with technical strength.

When being informed of the supportive epidemic prevention materials shortage among the first-line medical staff, the company and employees were called on to donate RMB 242,820 to purchase resources globally, and finally, 4,700 N95 masks and 300 disposable charcoal masks were sent to frontline medical staff through Sichuan Province Red Cross.

Party branch of Sinopharm Sichuan Orthopedic Technology and Equipment Co., Ltd.

In the early stage of the outbreak, Sinopharm Branch quickly summoned party members to establish the "Party Vanguard", which was managed and directed by General Manager Yi Xiaoping.  Through close liaison with the government and various departments, the branch actively allocated resources from various parties, purchased 200,000 masks, 5,000 pieces of protective clothing, 2,000 goggles, and 300 temperature guns, and distributed them to the hospital for the first time after overcoming many difficulties. Many hospitals got emergency supplies.

When learning of the epidemic prevention materials shortage in some hospitals in Luzhou, Deng Xuejing, deputy general manager, immediately went to ten hospitals in Luzhou to donate materials. A total of nearly RMB 500,000 of epidemic prevention materials were donated.

During the critical period, other members took multiple roles such as warehouse operator, delivery person, logistics support, etc. Wherever necessary, they will take the initiative to go.

As a medical equipment producer, it is their aim to provide logistics services for hospitals. "Caring for life and health" is their corporate ethos, and all these are being fully embodied by their charge on the front line.

Party Branch of Sichuan Sansong Medical Management Group Co., Ltd.

At present, the urgent epidemic situation admits of no delay, and it is even more important for a medical management enterprise to shoulder the responsibility.  In order to maintain a safe and orderly medical environment, Sansong Party branch pioneered in establishing an epidemic prevention and control working group, formulated two sets of epidemic prevention and control measures and teaching materials, and carried out more than 10 epidemic prevention propaganda through the Internet.

At the same time, it supervised and inspected the epidemic prevention and control of the affiliated hospitals every day, provided timely feedback on the existing problems, requested immediate rectification, and continued to build the epidemic prevention line.

Since the outbreak, the hospitals affiliated to the Sansong Group have conducted hemodialysis for more than 1,000 times for patients with kidney diseases in a safe manner, and have effectively taken care of their health.  Five affiliated hospitals took the initiative to connect with the community to coordinate epidemic prevention, donate money and materials, dispatch 3 medical personnel to support the Yibin Municipal Health Commission, and actively play the professional role of medical institutions.

Secretary of the Seventh United Party Branch of Tianfu Life Science Park: Lai Qinggang

Comrade Lai Qinggang is currently Secretary of the Seventh United Party Branch of Tianfu Life Science Park. He is also a partner, deputy general manager and head of the big data business department of PHARNEX (Chengdu).

The raging epidemic situation soon drained the frontline medical and epidemic prevention materials in hospitals, which announced an emergency.

In January, after Lai Qinggang, together with Wang Bo, the PHARNEX president of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products , and other partners, learned that the first-line "warriors" in Hubei lacked the corresponding protective materials during the epidemic, they, adhering to their love for the party and the country, quickly established the PHARNEX Global Procurement Working Group on Scarce Materials, as well as the PHARNEX Global Procurement Mutual Aid Group on Scarce Materials. A total of approximately RMB 3 million has been collected to purchase all kinds of on-demand materials.

Up to now, a total of 5,950 sets of medical protective clothing have been donated to many hospitals in Huanggang. These materials were sent to hospitals in Xiaogan, Huanggang, Wuhan, Huangshi and Jingmen, including 230,000 sets of imported isolation gowns from Germany, 20,000 3M N95 masks, 75,000 sterile gloves.

A trunk of sodium hypochlorite solution was distributed to community service centers and isolation points in Wuhan.  A negative pressure ambulance was donated to Wuhan Hanyang Hospital.  Batches of epidemic prevention materials bring not only physical protection but also spiritual comfort to the first-line medical staff.  

"I am not necessarily the determinant of success, but the participant and contributor". There are many organizations and individuals who don't pay attention to their personal interests but make contributions in fighting against the "epidemic" quietly, which are known by the public after mining.
