In everyone's impression, Tianfu Life Science Park is a biomedical R&D and innovation center, an industrial incubation center and a gateway to life science and technology industry in Western China...In fact, in the introduction made by Xiaotian, it is a park featured with popular science, interactivity and experience, and a good place suitable for all age groups to conduct science popularization, and research-based learning ~  

 

       Tianfu Life Science Park Phase II makes full use of the overhead floors of various buildings and the life and health scenes and sculptures based on the history of medical development from ancient times to the present and from Chinese medicine to western medicine to create the first "Tianfu Science Popularization Greenway" with the theme of life and health in the High-tech Zone integrating science popularization, communication and parent-child interaction.        On April 2, a warm spring day, over 400 kids from grades 2-3 of the Primary School Affiliated to Chengdu Shishi Tianfu Middle School, closing their books and carrying their schoolbags, came to Chengdu Advanced Medical Science Center, Tianfu Life Science Park Phase II ~ to get to know the significance of the origin of life and feel the charm of biomedicine.

10,001—To explore the footprints of life in the cultural corridor

 

 

 

       The cultural atmosphere corridor of the phase II park is the highlight! Traditional Chinese medicine, experiment, gene, Klein bottle ... A series of popular science related to biomedical biomedical principles can help children get different experiences and broaden their horizons while participating in the process.

 

  

 

       Standing upright! Keeping the hands across the chest, and listening to the popular science introduction concentratedly ~ An attitude worthy of Xiaotian's appreciation

Feeling the enchantment of biomedicine in the exhibition hall of the park

 

 

 

       In the exhibition hall of the park, there are everything you can imagine, from 3D stereoscopic images to biological models. The kids are lined up and ready to roam in the ocean of biomedicine.

 

 

       Look! Is this what cells look like? That's fantastic! ~ I wanna remember every knowledge to go back to share it with my buddies. (but actually, you wanna go back and show off to them, hee hee)

 

 

       Gee? May I click to have a look? The kids are curious about every intelligent instruments in the exhibition hall, itching to try. A gentle click to learn a big knowledge.

 

 

       Walking around, I find there are exhibits and introductions related to biomedicine everywhere. Each one is so interesting! Learning to understand the mystery of life, the kids are full of high enthusiasm.

Hands on practice—Making research-based learning works

 

 

 

       After the visit, everyone began to make small scientific and technological works by hand under the instruction of the tutor for research-based learning. It's time to test the hands-on ability. Guess which kid finished the assembly first?

 

 

       I have got the package, I'll unpack it right away, read the instructions first, and then assemble it right away. Xiaotian, whose craft class is not very good, has to stand aside, cheering for everyone silently, 2333

 

 

       Children who have got their beloved spiders or solar car packages are concentrating on assembling them. No one can stop me from taking the first place. Go!

       By moving research-based learning activities to Tianfu Life Science Park to combine education with entertainment, children can process and output the acquired knowledge through watching, listening, recording, photography, thinking and hands-on practice, thus improving their scientific literacy and learning a lot of biomedical knowledge.
