Opening Ceremony
On the morning of March 28, the grand opening ceremony of Chengdu Fendi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was held in Chengdu Advanced Medical Science Center, Tianfu Life Science Park Phase II, which marked the formal opening of Chengdu Fendi Pharmaceutical New Drug R&D Center. Zeng Ke, member of the Party Working Committee and deputy director of the Management Committee of Chengdu High-tech Zone, Chen Fen'er, academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, Deng Hui, deputy director of the Biological Industry Development Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Zone, Qin Yong, Dean of West China School of Pharmacy Sichuan University, Wang Li, Chairman of WestChina-Frontier Pharmatech Co., Ltd., Li Jin, Chairman of Chengdu HitGen Development Co., Ltd., and nearly 50 other guests from the government, academia, industry and investment circles attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, deputy director Zeng Ke delivered a speech on behalf of Chengdu High-tech Zone and congratulated Fendi Pharmaceutical on its formal opening. He said that the opening and operation of Fendi Pharmaceutical represents another important professor achievement transformation project of Sichuan University in the industry pole of Chengdu Advanced Medical Science Center, marking another important New Drug R&D Platform in Chengdu High-tech Zone. He hopes that after the operation of the project, the international and domestic leading New Drug Development Platform can be established, and that it can cooperate with the New Drug Discovery Platform, the Pre-clinical Research Platform, the Clinical Research Platform and a large number of biomedical enterprises in Chengdu High-tech Zone to innovate and resonate with the same frequency, so as to stimulate the innovation vitality of the industrial ecosystem, and make contributions to the efforts of Chengdu Advanced Medical Science Center for new endosperm nuclei and hotbed in biomedical innovation and development.

Fendi Pharmaceutical also signed strategic cooperation agreements with WestChina-Frontier, Hyperway Pharmaceutical and Haifeng Biopharma respectively at the opening ceremony, which laid the cooperation foundation for follow-up cooperation to build a complete development chain of new targeted protein degradation drugs.
