Staff of enterprises in the Park look up information in the Information Center

News of the newspaper (Reporter: He Wenwei photographer: Zheng Yi) On November 26, the reporter learned from Tianfu Life Science Park that, after nearly seven months of decoration, the Zhongke Tianfu Life Science Park Information Center, co-built by Chengdu Library and Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chengdu High Investment Biological Medicine Park Management Co., Ltd., reopened this month to all enterprises in the Park.

"The upgraded Zhongke Tianfu Life Science Park Information Center covers an area of 138 square meters. Besides the original book reading, online database retrieval, original text delivery, and other services, the Information Center also offers industrial technology analysis and consulting, information literacy training, and other services." According to Chen Li, Associate Research Fellow of the Information Service Department of Chengdu Library and Information Center, Chinese Academy of Sciences, the reopened Information Center is added with another 2,000 books and periodicals, "Now the Information Center houses a total of 2.2 million printed documents, 108 digital databases, some 18 thousand kinds of full-text e-journal in foreign languages, 14 thousand kinds of e-periodicals in Chinese, 6,000 volumes of reference books in foreign languages, and 2.5 million diploma papers in Chinese and foreign languages, capable of providing retrieval and full-text delivery services for enterprises in the Park."

According to sources, the Information Center opens to the public from Monday to Friday, and offers printing and downloading services. Enterprises can go there to look up the latest industrial news and collect information.
