On February 24, Fang Cunhao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, inspects Tianfu Life Science Park on the industrial planning, operation and development, and project building of the Park.

Fang Cunhao and his delegation visited SLNA Szostak CDHT Institute for Large Nucleic Acid, Public Technology Platform for Biomedical Analysis and Testing in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, Exhibition Hall of Tianfu Life Science Park, and other sites. They held a work seminar and listened to the working reports of Tianfu Life Science Park, Chengdu Tianfu International Biopolis, and relevant institutions on the establishment of professional biomedicine platform company. Fang Cunhao pointed out that, the establishment of professional biomedicine platform company will be of great significance to biomedicine development in Chengdu Hi-tech Zone, and a faster pace in building bioindustry ecosphere; all relevant institutions should unite their thoughts by following the decisions of Chengdu Municipal Committee, make greater efforts to identify and establish new systems and mechanisms, take a down-to-earth approach in all works related to the establishment of the professional biomedicine platform company, and integrate resources to push for the building of bioindustry ecosphere; they should be serious in learning home and abroad best practices, identify the rules, trends, stages, and features of our own development, and define the objective and positioning of building the professional biomedicine platform company. Tianfu Life Science Park and Chengdu Tianfu International Biopolis should have an overall picture in mind, be brave in exploration based on a deep understanding of the status quo and gap, identify new ways of operation and development, and build a top-notch, professional biomedicine platform company, in a way to promote the quality development of biomedicine industry.
