BioTianfu Class of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Series Activities Session 5 — Weighted Deduction of Research and Development Costs

On May 9, the special training on Weighted Deduction of Research and Development Costs was held in Tianfu Life Science Park.

This lecture invited Mr. Zhang Qinghai, a Chinese certified public accountant, lawyer, quasi-sponsor representative and co-founder of Sichuan Zhongjun Yatai Company and Chongqing Fucheng Company, to bring financial management personnel of enterprises in the park a training class full of substance. In his own humorous terms and with the help of practical cases, Mr. Zhang explained in detail what is weighted deduction, the deduction scope of R&D costs stipulated in Document No.40 (Guo Shui Fa [2017]), and the difference between the weighted deduction of R&D costs and the actual deduction of R&D costs. After the training, Mr. Zhang also had discussions and exchanges with the trainees on practical problems of relevant enterprises.

 

 

BioTianfu Class of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Series Activities Session 6 — Salon for Practices of Sino-US Double-Report for Innovative Drugs

On May 10, the "Salon for Practices of Sino-US Double-Report for Innovative Drugs" was held in Tianfu Life Science Park as part of the "Pilot and Demonstration Base for Transfer and Transformation of Special Achievements of Major Innovative Drugs" series professional service capacity building activities.

This salon invited seven industry experts to deliver thematic lectures to share their experience in Sino-US double-report for innovative drugs, and latest information on Sino-US double-report strategy. It mainly includes: relevant reporting requirements of Sino-US double report for pre-clinical data, strategic plan and challenges of Sino-US double report, overview of ECTD report, convergence of laws and regulations in the process of Sino-US double report, FDA's legal requirements for reporting pre-clinical electronic data, similarities and differences between U.S. and China's IND report and their respective detailed implementation rules and other aspects, and Sino-US double report practices shared by two local enterprises, Chengdu Kanghong Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. and Hinvoa Pharmaceuticals Inc. A total of more than 120 people from pharmaceutical enterprises in Chengdu and its surrounding areas participated in the exchange study.

 

 

BioTianfu Class of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Series Activities Session 7 — Interpretation and Sharing of Salary and Welfare Trends in Life Science Industry

On the afternoon of May 10, the BioTianfu Class of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Series Activities Session 7 — Interpretation and Sharing of Salary and Welfare Trends in Life Science Industry was held in Tianfu Life Science Park.

This activity attracted more than 50 managers and HR leaders from Chengdu bio-pharmaceutical industry including Tianfu Life Science Park. As the keynote speaker, Ms. Han Lu, senior consulting director of Beijing Branch of Mercer Consulting (China) Ltd., based on the 2018 research results on the overall remuneration of China's life science industry of Mercer and focused on the core goal of how to improve the human resources management level in the biomedical industry, gave a detailed account and analysis from multiple aspects such as salary and differences of key posts, talent attraction, advanced post management methods, person-post matching and organizational agility.

 

 

CDHT Industrial Policy Publicity Monthly Theme Activity —Promotion of Enterprise Service Platform and Publicity of Industrial Policies

On the afternoon of May 16, CDHT Industrial Policy Publicity Monthly Theme Activity — Promotion of Enterprise Service Platform and Publicity of Industrial Policies were successfully held in Tianfu Life Science Park, attracting a total of more than 50 enterprises. This activity started with an introduction to the enterprise service platform and related activities for improving the business environment by CDHT Economic Operation and Safety Production Supervision Administration, then CDHT Bioindustry Development Administration introduced Chengdu's existing ecological circle policy, industrial cultivation policy and industrial service policy, and at last Chengdu High Investment Biological Medicine Park Management Co., Ltd. introduced the progress of Tianfu Life Science Park (Phase II).
