The pharmaceutical enterprises in CDHT form delegations to recruit talent at Wuhan University, and receive good response!

On September 26, the 2019 Bio-industry Promotional Conference of Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone and the Autumn Biotalent Recruitment Fair of Tianfu Life Science Park, which were sponsored by the Bio-industry Development Bureau of Chengdu High-tech Industrial Development Zone (CDHT) and CDHT Investment Group Biomedicine Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd. (Tianfu Life Science Park), were successfully held at Wuhan University.

The Bio-industry Development Bureau of CDHT promoted the bio-industry in the zone, and 15 key bio-pharmaceutical enterprises in the zone form delegations to recruit excellent talent at Wuhan University.

Wang Xiaoning, Director of the Achievement Transformation Department of the Bio-industry Development Bureau of CDHT, said that there are currently more than 1,500 bio-enterprises in the zone, and the scale of the bio-industry exceeded 40 billion yuan in 2018, a total of 50 biomedical key projects were introduced into the park in the whole year, including Sanofi, Allergan and other Fortune Global 500 enterprises.

As the earliest bioengineering and pharmaceutical park in CDHT, Tianfu Life Science Park has a wide range of business types, numerous research projects, and diverse human activities, thus attracting a number of talent and providing vast space for their development.

In the double-way choice session, 15 companies, including Chengdu Brilliant Pharmaceutical Group, Chengdu ConMed Biosciences, HitGen Inc, Baiyu, and Hinova Pharmaceuticals Inc. provided quite a lot of job vacancies for the graduates; on the other hand, the applicants are required to be doctoral candidates, postgraduates or undergraduates, with the major in pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemical, chemical engineering and clinical medicine, among others.

As a key comprehensive university directly under the Ministry of Education, Wuhan University is selected as the key university of within the “Project 985” and “Project 211” in China, and included in the first batch of universities under the Double First Class University Plan. It was reported that on September 26, a total of 52 talent recruitment activities were held at Wuhan University, indicating the fierce competition for its graduates.

According to statistics, the event had attracted more than 120 graduates with high academic qualifications from Wuhan University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University and other key universities, and 42.5% of them are master degree holders.

Their graduates are of high quality and meet the recruitments of the biomedicine companies in our zone, given that the biomedical industry in our zone shows a strong development momentum. There are lots of high-quality enterprises in the zone, thus sufficiently attractive to the graduates. That is why we come here to recruit talent,” Wang Xiaoning said, adding that there is great demand for talent in biomedical enterprises, thus a fierce competition in the recruitment.

To this end, the Bio-industry Development Bureau of CDHT and Tianfu Life Science Park formed a recruitment group, and arranged some outstanding employees to engage in the promotion. In such way do they aim to recruit talent to assist the tackling of practical difficulties and spurring the industrial development.
