On August 29, Wan Xiang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianfu Life Science Park in CDHT and Deputy General Manager of CDHT Investment Group Biomedicine Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd., the operator of the park, said that the Party Committee of Tianfu Life Science Park strived to meet the work requirements of “Keeping the original inspiration and the mission in mind” and creatively put forward the work method of “providing services with hearts, intensively getting involved in work and integrating resources and platforms” which is applicable to the Party-building service in the park and zone in 2019 as per actual situation of the bioengineering and pharmaceutical park.

What is work method of “providing services with hearts, intensively getting involved in work and integrating resources and platforms?” According to Wan Xiang, by summarizing the experience of service operation in the park for many years, the Party Committee of the park put forward the work method, aiming to fully implement the service-oriented concept and continuously improve the business environment of the park. Tianfu Life Science Park, as the important bio-pharmaceutical R&D innovation center and the industrial incubator center in China, is a key industrial park in the “13^th Five-Year Plan” of Sichuan Province. Welcome to sign up.” Entering July, the talent service staff in Tianfu Life Science Park became very busy. For a couple of days, they were busy with all kinds of preparatory work for the upcoming 2019 Autumn Biotalent Recruitment Fair.

“In the biomedical research and development park with a pool of high-tech talent, enterprises attach the great importance to talented people.” Wan Xiang said. At the end of 2017, the Party Committee of Tianfu Life Science Park learned that many enterprises were in urgent demand of talent, but lots of start-ups lack channels and competitiveness. To solve the problem, the Party Committee and the management company of the park initiatively organized the enterprises to form delegations in the recruitment, facilitated by the reputation of the park.

To assist the enterprises to secure urgently-needed talent, Tianfu Life Science Park initiated the Biotalent Recruitment Fair in March 2018. As of now, the Party Committee of the park has participated in organizing nine recruitment activities, in which it served 180 enterprises and attracted tens of thousands of applicants.

Meanwhile, in order to build the biomedical research and development ecological circle and implement the talent-priority development strategy in the park, the Party Committee also participated in the creation of the BIOTIANFU Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Classroom, and actively organized the comprehensive training courses with such themes as “Party building + enterprise management,” “Party building + industrial trend” and “Party building + policy interpretation.” From 2018, it has conducted training activities for over 50 times, with more than 3,000 participants.

The biomedical research and development features high investment, high risks and a long cycle, with greater demand for funds and policies. Last year, Chengdu Geneus Technology Co., Ltd., a star enterprise in Tianfu Life Science Park, secured the angel financing of 15 million yuan this May; and Chengdu Hyperway Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., which entered the park only three months ago, completed the angel funding of tens of millions yuan. Such successful financing cases are heard every now and then in the park.

Tianfu Life Science Park, while ensuring the integrity of enterprises at the time of their entering the park, actively uses the model of capital + professional technology platform incubator to continuously attract capital; moreover, it positively solves barriers during enterprises’ seeking for financing by matching with all kinds of industrial funds and banks, and strengthening the cooperation with social funds. Up to now, the park has secured the accumulated financing (including by means of mergers and acquisitions) of 5 billion yuan.

The Party-building and clean-government service platform of Tianfu Life Science Park was launched in early August, providing such services as establishment of Party Branches, admittance of Party members, boosting of clean governance, and supervision and reporting.
