November 9 is the National Fire Prevention Day. In order to increase the awareness of fire safety of enterprises in Tianfu Life Science Park and promote them to actively fulfill their duties of fire safety and create a favorable environment for the “119” Fire Prevention Month, the theme activity of the Second Tianfu Life Science Park “119” Fire Prevention Month organized by CDHT Investment Group Biomedicine Industrial Park Management Co., Ltd. which operates and manages Tianfu Life Science Park was successfully held on the afternoon of November 8.

This year, the Fire Prevention Month was themed by “Preventing Fire Risks, Building a Beautiful Home”. The theme activity was conducted in the form of fire emergency drill. At the site, a deflagration accident with some people injured in a laboratory in Tianfu Life Science Park was simulated.

After the accident happened, the Park immediately launched the fire emergency plan, and the staff who participated in the drill immediately assembled by the rescue team, guard team, accident investigation team and logistics support team and rushed to the scene to deal with the accident and evacuate the employees of enterprises in the Park.

In order to truly reappear the scene that people trapped on high floors in a fire were rescued, a fire truck was also driven to the site to help rescue people trapped on the roof.

After intense rescue, the fire was finally put out and the danger was controlled with joint efforts of all parties.

“There is a big fire 2 meters away. Hold the fire extinguisher and aim at the fire source. After a sound, the brown yellow dry power is sprayed out, and the fire is successfully put out.” After the fire emergency drill, the drillmaster explained fire safety knowledge and how to use fire equipment, and also provided the training on fire fighting on site. Quite a few employees of enterprises in the Park who participated in the activity also practiced putting out a fire with fire extinguishers.

According to statistics, nearly 400 employees of enterprises in the Park participated in this activity. The drill and training are helpful to train the fire rescue team, improve the actual fire-fighting ability and enhance the Park’s ability to deal with emergency accidents, and also further popularize the general knowledge on fire safety in the Park and increase the awareness of fire safety of enterprise employees.
