On October 18, Market Supervision Administration Bureau of Chengdu Hi-tech Zone and Chengdu Food and Drug Quality Inspection Research Institute held a signing ceremony for the strategic cooperation framework agreement to jointly explore “intelligent administration” on the food and drug market. The agreement regulates that the two sides will carry out strategic cooperation in big data platform application and construction, online catering monitoring, early warning and analysis, food and drug inspection and testing capabilities in Chengdu High-tech Zone.

As far as we know, Chengdu Food and Drug Quality Inspection Research Institute is the core organization with the food and drug quality supervision, inspection and testing technology system in Chengdu, and has comparatively greater influence in the central and western regions and even the whole country. Over the course of this cooperation, Chengdu Food and Drug Quality Inspection Research Institute will use its own cutting-edge technical research strength and rich experience in big data projects to provide technical services for Chengdu High-tech Zone in food and drug monitoring, early warning, big data platform construction and other aspects. By emphasizing the key areas in Chengdu High-tech Zone, it will carry out the catering precision management work based on the big data. The technical “intelligent administration” will help to expose the frequent occurrence of food safety problems on the internet and hidden dangers in the High-tech Zone, and improve the efficiency of food safety management. In addition, the two sides will carry out sampling inspection of food and drug, personnel training, developing food safety risk analysis report, enterprise risk rating and other works in this area so that data sharing and support services can be provided.

“In the future, with the help of scientific technology, we will do a good job in the market supervision and digital upgrading of government service in Chengdu High-tech Zone in order to develop the “internet plus administration” field”, introduced by relevant officials of Chengdu Food and Drug Quality Inspection Research Institute.
