BioTianfu Interferon and Cytokine Integrated Industry-University-Research Innovation Summit and the 20th Interferon and Cytokine Symposium

Since the 18th CPC National Congress, China has attached great importance to scientific and technological innovation and encouraged and supported drug development through policies. As the country ushered in the best era for the research and development (R&D) of new drugs, more and more creative therapies including interferon, cytokines and tumor immunity were put into practical use.

However, the lack of resources like talent, capital, policies, R&D hardware and core technologies restrict further breakthroughs in new drugs in China. In response to the opportunities and challenges of developing cutting-edge innovative therapies, BioTianfu Interferon and Cytokine Integrated Industry-University-Research Innovation Summit and the 20th Interferon and Cytokine Symposium is scheduled to be held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from December 6 to 8, 2019. The summit will organize discussions on the latest development and future trend of interferon and cytokines. Besides, it will hold the Innovation Forum for International Biological Makers and University Scientific and Technological Talent and the Transfer and Transformation of Scientific Research Achievements and Supporting Talent Matchmaking Conference[Z01]  for the first time, so as to facilitate the leapfrog development of interferon and cytokines in an all-around manner.

 

Being organized by the Interferon and Cytokine Professional Committee, Chinese Society for Microbiology, the summit will invite famous academicians, scholars, enterprises and investment institutions to share the new achievements and progress of interferon and cytokines in biomedicine and conduct in-depth discussion on development ideas of precision medicine and bio-pharmaceuticals. This summit will become an important platform for the academic exchanges in interferon and cytokines and the pharmaceutical industry and projects and talent exchanges.
